Blog parade: AI and my job

A blog parade featuring honest stories about artificial intelligence in everyday working life
“A blog parade? Isn’t that a bit old-fashioned?” – that was a friend’s reaction when I told her about my idea.
“Yes, it is. And at the same time, it’s a great way to gather different perspectives on a topical issue.” – was my reply.
No algorithm curates the posts, no editorial team smooths out the rough edges. Just people writing about what they’re actually experiencing. I think it’s worth a try.
And what topic deserves it more right now than this: artificial intelligence and the question of what it does to our work and to us.
Your story matters
AI has already become part of everyday working life for many people. However, what this everyday life actually looks like varies completely from person to person and from profession to profession.
Perhaps you work as a graphic designer, are confronted with new possibilities every day, and feel the question of your professional relevance becoming ever more pressing. Perhaps you work as a project manager and are trying to apply your years of planning expertise to generative AI. Or maybe you’re a software developer, despairing at the task of checking 5,000 lines of automatically generated code for coherence. Perhaps you are a requirements analyst trying to identify the blind spots in AI-generated documents. Or you are a sales manager who wanted to relieve your team of administrative tasks and now sometimes feel like a passenger in a system controlled by others.
These stories aren’t just of interest to me. They interest colleagues, those affected and those in charge, everyone who is in the thick of this transformation and wants to know: How are others coping with it? How do you take the first steps, and what are the key takeaways? Who is facing problems, and who sees what opportunities?
Here’s how you can take part in the blog parade
The rules are simple: write your own post about your personal experiences with AI in your day-to-day working life. Whether on your own blog or as a LinkedIn article – both are welcome. The post should be at least 300 words long and can be written in German or English. Ideally, please link your post to this call for entries so that more people have the chance to benefit from different perspectives and experiences.
Please email the link to your post at internet@t2informatik.de. Please include the title and a brief description of who you are and what you do for a living. The deadline for submissions is 24 July 2026 at 12:00 noon.
I will be presenting all the submitted articles here, in the order in which I received notifications, along with a short teaser and a link. I will then promote them via our popular newsletter.
