Michael Sperber from Active Group

Dr Michael Sperber is the managing director of Active Group GmbH, which develops individual software exclusively with functional programming. He is an internationally recognised expert in functional programming and has been applying it in research, teaching and industrial development for over 20 years. He is co-organiser of the developer conference BOB, co-founder of the blog funktionale-programmierung.de and has written numerous technical articles and books on the subject. He is currently working with Herbert Klaeren on the textbook Schreibe Dein Programm! for beginners' training in programming, which is available free of charge on the DeinProgramm homepage.
