Strong partnerships for strong results
Anyone who implements digital projects knows that many things are easier when done together. Almost everyone has encountered situations that cannot be managed alone due to a lack of capacity, specialist expertise, or both.
We have seen this happen time and again, which is why we rely on strong partnerships – and this works both ways: either we join a project as experts, contributing our staff and our knowledge, Or we face a specific task for which we draw on the expertise of external specialists.
Partnerships broaden horizons, provide fresh impetus and motivate those involved. Above all, the result is always the priority – and the results are impressive when cooperation partners not only complement but also reinforce one another.
‘We were looking for a partner to help us coach a client’s development teams in developing single page web applications using HTML5/JS. With t2informatik we have found this partner. t2informatik has experts who not only master the required technologies, but also pass on their knowledge to others.’
Partnerships we are keen to form
Software projects are as diverse as the situations in which a partnership makes sense. Two scenarios, which occur on a daily basis in practice, illustrate particularly well when it is worthwhile to work with us:
The partner as an extension of your team
Some service providers reach their capacity limits when working on client projects. If a project is short of resources, we step in to bolster the team and boost productivity. Our team works either on-site or remotely and operates just like in-house staff, following the same processes and standards. Ideally, there are architectural definitions and documentation, as well as coding and development guidelines, which facilitate collaboration.
‘t2informatik was able to provide us with a real expert in the field of .NET/WPF at short notice. Our task was extremely complex. The expert from t2informatik integrated well into our project team and our modell-driven development approach. The cooperation was very good and we will be relying on t2informatik again at the next opportunity.’
Complementary collaboration on equal terms
Many service providers are experts in their field, but lack certain software development skills needed to bring a project to fruition. This is where we come in – with our expertise and implementation support. For example, we support
- UX agencies that specialise in user experience design but lack the expertise to develop software systems,
- web agencies that design strong front-ends but require expertise in back-end development or the development of interfaces,
- project management firms that plan and manage projects but do not design or develop software themselves,
- management consultancies that gather requirements for and with clients but leave the implementation to development experts.
This creates partnerships in which everyone does what they do best – so that the shared client benefits from the combination.
‘We love effective partnerships based on clear agreements and transparent processes. Partnerships that enable us to tackle technical challenges together and work so well that the client doesn’t hesitate for a second to work with us again as a team on their next project.’
When does a partnership make sense?
Hardly any two digital projects are alike. And despite all the individual strategies, there are still recurring situations in which we are called upon as a reliable partner:
Complex projects in regulated environments
Anyone working in a regulated industry must accurately identify thousands of requirements, document them comprehensively and implement them within an architecture that can withstand audit scrutiny. We understand these requirements inside out and make them the starting point for everything we do.
Development of web and cloud applications
Web and cloud applications must be able to scale as required, withstand attacks and integrate seamlessly with existing systems. We therefore always develop them with care, keeping in mind scalability, security, user-friendliness and integration capabilities.
Integration of web and desktop applications
Many software solutions require a high-performance web application for day-to-day use and a desktop application for centralised data management and administrative tasks. We take a holistic approach to development: from architectural decisions and synchronisation logic right through to the user experience on both platforms.
Modernisation of legacy systems
There comes a point when legacy IT systems can no longer keep up due to uneconomical maintenance costs or increasing security vulnerabilities. We examine your systems and processes and develop a strategy that preserves tried-and-tested structures whilst taking action precisely where it is really needed.
‘COMPAREX AG needed support in the time-critical development of its Global Managed Services for cloud monitoring and security. This required the use of the latest methods and technologies, as frequent adaptations and extreme scalability were to be expected in the future. The cooperation with t2informatik started from the first discussions on how to envision this: High level of quality, know-how and commitment. We were able to successfully implement both the first proof-of-concept and the subsequent prototypes in close cooperation with t2informatik. We were always convinced by the constant search for new and more effective solutions, while at the same time making high demands on code quality.’
Selection of technology at project start
Every technology has its strengths, limitations and specific areas of application. Choosing the right one for a given project ensures operational reliability in the long term. We analyse the context and requirements, evaluate the relevant technologies and provide a recommendation that is tailored to the project, the organisation and its long-term goals.
Product development based on a prototype
Once a prototype has convinced the key stakeholders, the transition to production begins. The focus here is on aspects such as architecture, functionality, scalability, stability, security and maintainability. We analyse the current situation and implement an application that meets the requirements for stable and sustainable production use.
Expansion of components and services
Digitalisation of work processes
Many companies still rely on manual processes, even though many of these workflows could be automated. We help to identify this potential, work with you to analyse existing processes, and develop bespoke software solutions that integrate seamlessly into your existing working environment and make day-to-day work noticeably easier.
What sets us apart as a partner
We have been working successfully for many years as a partner to companies such as msg, Capgemini, Fujitsu, 4Soft, tangible engineering and GEBIT Solutions. As well as our technical expertise, clear communication and transparent, reliable approach, this is also down to our technology stack, which is as broad as it is deep – find out more in our t2informatik Partner Compass.
